Originally from Germany, the founder of Sourdough Sophia (a North London artisinal sourdough bakery), Sophia has been baking and cooking for as long as she could hold a mixing spoon.   • Do I need to be an experienced baker to take this course?

    Ideally, you'll have taken my Sourdough Like a Pro beginners course and/or have an active sourdough starter ready. Why? So, you are familiar with the terms and techniques I use in this Course. If you understand how to make your sourdough starter, slap and fold and coil folds, bulk fermentation and autolyse the course will be much easier to follow.

  • Do I need lots of expensive equipment?

    No, as with all my courses all you'll need is flour, salt and water. To bake your pretzels, bagels and baguettes it would be easier if you have baking steel or a pizza stone. These aren't essential as you can use an upside down baking tray if you don't have baking steels or pizza stone.

  • How long do I have to take the course?

    Once you enrol in the bundleyou have access to the videos and ebook for life. You can take your time going through the courses, rewatch the videos as you need. As you rewatch each video you notice little things you missed the first time around. Enhancing your knowledge and making you a better baker.

  • I'm not very good at cooking, does that mean I'll be bad at baking?
